Hydrogen as primary energy carrier

A new economic optimum for wind energy: Double the energy from wind, with hydrogen as the primary energy carrier

How can you get twice as much energy from wind? It’s all about economics and the combination of several optimisation factors. The yield of wind turbines and wind parks is now designed for a certain economic optimum based on electrical infrastructure and the electricity market. However, using hydrogen as the primary energy carrier significantly changes the economics of yielding wind.

By integrating the turbine and electrolysis and connecting it to pipelines, synergies can be achieved that are only possible with hydrogen as the main carrier. The realised synergy in the whole chain – from production to distribution and usage – makes our green hydrogen a competitive energy source. And it comes with several extra benefits as well.
